Day 10

The description of today was obviously written by a teenager.

Or someone with a much more interesting life than mine...

So I'm modifying a little bit.

Today is a tribute to the person with whom

I have done the craziest things, for me.

Because I am not really a crazy kind of girl.

I am a stick to what I know, routine, stay in my comfort zone kind of girl.

The person who has pushed me

out of that comfort zone the most is Jeremy.

And not because he is a crazy kid,

but because together, we are much more brave!

This picture was the last one taken of us before we boarded a plane to Italy...

And yes, that does go down in my book as the

"craziest" thing I ever did.

I left behind ever conceivable comfort zone

to live two years in a foreign country.

I would NEVER have done that without Jeremy.

Thank you honey.

You are the love of my life,

the breath to my soul,

my inspiration and my strength.

Day 9

I will be away from my computer this weekend, so I thought I would get a little ahead.

This is one of my all time favorite pictures of my family.

And this is the reason I will be gone.

This is the reason I am stressing myself out

trying to get things ready for a sub

and get myself ready for another weekend away from home.

My family.

As I mentioned in the 15 facts about me,

I LOVE my family!!

I HATE that we live so far from each other

and I am THRILLED that I get to see them again so soon.

And yes, this picture is taken at Whataburger.

Someone I have been closest with the longest

July 2001

I always wanted a best friend,

I mean a true best friend.

One that sticks around no matter what.

Someone who would stay close emotionally

even if we had to be apart physically.

I was 17 before that prayer was answered.

God knew exactly what I needed when he

brought me together with Jeremy.

12 years later we are still together

and he is still my best friend!

I love San Antonio!

This weekend I accompanied Jeremy,

who was attending a bullying conference.

After visiting the barnyard,

Jeremy decided we should buy Oak Farms

to support local dairies.

Tuesday June 22nd

Ok, it's not an official holiday, but

I did go to work with Jeremy today.

He was giving a presentation to local educators

about bully prevention.

I went to help and give moral support.

The pictures I took of him presenting

didn't come out very well, so instead

you get this picture of Jeremy's office!

Tonight, Jeremy surprised me with a date night!
He had everything planned by the time I got home,
and he even voluntarily went to see a girly movie!

BTW, This is a good date movie because it is funny and romantic.

Monday January 4th

One of the things I did over break
was clean out my jewelry box and
rediscover some old favorites.
One of them was this ring,
which Jeremy gave me while we were dating,
though neither of us can remember when exactly.
I wore it today and tonight we did a photo shoot.
Yeah, I know it's gorgeous-
the ring and the photo.
