We have figs!

Our fig tree,
which was just a stick about a week ago,
not only has two leaves,
but also BABY FIGS!!!

Going Green

Thursday March 25th

I was raised to respect the environment
and to do my part to protect it.
We are trying to teach that to our kids at school as well.
Since everyone is all in to "Going Green"
I thought I would show off my recycle bin.
I know, you are probably thinking,
"That's a lot of wasted paper!"
We are also trying to cut back and reuse when possible,
but at least the extras will be recycled.

Wednesday March 24th

We recently received document cameras
and projectors at school.
Bye bye over heads!
Good riddance transparencies!
Now I can put whatever I want under the camera
and 'voila' it appears on the screen!
We also got mini laptops so we can show
educational videos etc.
I'm loving it!!

Biology Lesson

Tuesday March 23rd

At school we have been growing cabbage plants.
Mine looks the best out of all the classes!
Guess what guys, plants need water
and sunlight to survive! :)

Tortilla Balloons

Monday March 22nd

Tonight I was making tostadas,
which I have done many times,
but for some unknown reason,
this time the tortillas ballooned up!

Lately we've ended up grocery shopping on Sunday nights,
which is apparently when everyone else does too...
However recently they took away the center aisle displays.
Look how much room there is!
