We had lunch at Jeremy and Kendal's after church today.

Rain

We've fallen into a nice pattern of light rain each afternoon.
This day was heavier than others, though equally as brief.
The rain washes across the metro like a brush stroke.
I'm sorry that you can't really see the rain in this picture :(

We walked to the corner store to buy bread for our lunches the next day.
On the way back we stopped to take a picture by this street sign because this is the name of the area we live in in Houston as well as a creek and lake near our homes.
The picture didn't turn out like I hoped, because the signs caught all the flash.
I cropped the invisible girls out so you can read the signs.

Thursday July 16th

Today my friend Toni took pity on me and rescued me from my boredom.
We went to eat and walked around the mall.
I meant to take a picture with Toni,
instead, all you get is the delicious sweet tea.
Pretty cool picture though... :)

Reading

Wednesday July 15th

My friend Audrey loaned me this book a while back.
Recently she told me that the movie is coming out, so I finally decided to read it so that I could go with her to see the movie.
It was really good, absorbed a whole day of my life.
In the end, I cried so hard I couldn't go to sleep and I woke Jeremy up with my sobbing.
This morning I had a headache and eyes so puffy I almost couldn't open them.
I don't like sad endings.

Monday July 13th

One of the projects I have accomplished this summer is
cleaning out and reorganizing our filing cabinet.
That left me with a box of stuff to be shredded,
so we finally bought a shredder!
Maybe that wouldn't be exciting to anyone else, but I have been having fun. :)

The little bluebonnet pin and ribbon were my something blue.
