Cheese Blintz

Saturday September 26th

When we were visiting Aunt Marilyn and Uncle John in July
they made this special breakfast for us.
Today Jeremy decided to try it for himself.
Isn't it beautiful?

I love Starbucks!

Friday September 25th

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back
so I have been frequenting Starbucks much more often.
Friday morning I was running late
so I got a latte and breakfast!
Yum yum!

Wednesday September 23rd

Today was Social Studies training.
Much more fun than yesterday!
We have the best Social Studies specialist!!
I won this puzzle as a door prize.
Jeremy finished it in ONE day!!!

TEKS

Tuesday September 22nd

I went to a training today about the new
state mandated standards for Language Arts,
otherwise known as TEKS.
It was VERY frustrating.

I finally just made a decision and went with it.
Today I attended my first professional teacher organization meeting.
Hopefully this will provide protection and make my life easier.

Thrifty Discovery

Monday September 14th

Today, while running errands with my coworkers,
I discovered that the 99cent store sells
Sunday papers for $1.
Normally they are $1.75.
Yeah for getting coupons for cheap!

Laundry

Sunday September 13th

I was not feeling well today
and I spent most of the day sleeping, but
in between naps I accomplished the above.
Hey, they're clean, even if they aren't put away.

As we headed out to Killeen today,
we saw downtown shrouded in fog.

Diary of a Sad Man

Friday September 11th

I have been listening to sermons in the car on the way to work.
My mom sent me Shawn Fowler's sermon series: Mythbusters.
It is based on the book of Ecclesiastes
They are good and challenging.

This is what obsessed my day today.
I spent all day worrying about it,
all afternoon trying not to think about it,
and this evening doing it.
I can't tell you how nervous it makes me to meet these parents.

We finished Eldest on Sunday.
Today Jeremy picked up the next book.
We are listening to it right now...

Sick and sleepy

I could hardly stay awake, I felt so bad.

Girl's night was at Amie's house tonight.
She has these two sweet puppies.
They aren't as different in age as they look.
