Scrapbook

Monday November 23rd

This is what I did today.
A scrapbook of Pa and Gran-Gran's
60th wedding anniversary party.
It is my first scrapbook in a long time and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I was going to put a picture of some of the inside pages,
but I don't want any of my family peeking
before I can show it to them. :)

Cleaning and Decorating

Sunday November 22nd

It's amazing how decorating can motivate you to clean...

Fall Cleaning

Saturday November 21st

Jeremy and I were so excited about Thanksgiving Break
that we decided to clean!
Well, really, we wanted to decorate for Christmas
and realized we'd have to un-bury the Christmas boxes first!
The spare room hasn't looked this good in a LONG time!

New Moon!!

Thursday November 19th

Tonight I attended my first ever movie premier.
Yes, I was among the crazy people
that waited in line for several hours
to see New Moon at midnight.

Thermometer

Tuesday November 17th

Jeremy got a birthday gift certificate from World Market.
We used it to get this cappuccino thermometer.
It is so nice to be able to regulate the temperature!
Come over for a cappuccino!

Goblet of Fire

Monday November 16th

Got this from the school library today.
Too bad I can't just read all day...

Harry Potter

Sunday November 15th

The same friends who got me into Twilight,
introduced me to Harry.
Today I checked this book out from the library.
Finished the whole thing in one day!

New Moon Party

Saturday November 14th

Tonight a friend from work had a party
in preparation for the New Moon release.
She went all out, as you can see from this glimpse.
Fun, fun!

A Late Night

Friday November 13th

I didn't realize until I was posting that this day was
Friday the 13th...
I stayed at work late tonight
to get my grades in for the progress report.
It made for a really long day, but it was so nice
not to take any work home over the weekend.

Take you're wife to work day

Thursday November 12th

Tonight I got a chance to see Jeremy in action.
After work I joined him to help lead a couples' group.
He's so good with people!
This is him in his office.

A Little Bubbly

Tuesday November 10th

Tonight we enjoyed a glass of an Italian wine
we got on sale at World Market this weekend.
Yum!

Yes, I am a fan

Saturday November 7th

I am a fan of Twilight.
A big fan.
Today at Mardel we found this shirt.
Sigh. :)

Fog

Friday November 6th

As I headed to work today,
I ran into this fog cloud.
Inside I could barely see one car length in front of me!
Thankfully it only lasted about two miles.

Books and yumminess

Thursday November 5th

Girl's night was at Starbucks tonight.
Here is the evidence of our gluttony.
I was also excited to get the 2nd Harry Potter book!
Yea for reading children's fiction!!

Ouch!

Wednesday November 4th

The wound on my middle finger is self inflicted.
I was talking so animatedly today,
that I scratched myself!

Mourning a loss

Tuesday November 3rd

While it's nice to find beautify where you least expect it,
crossing this industry ridden ship channel every day
makes me sad for all the nature lost.
The San Jacinto monument rising in the background
only serves to remind that this land used to be so forested
that the Texas army could sneak up on Santa Anna.

Daylight Savings

Monday November 2nd

No, there is not a fire in the woods. :)
That is the sunset through the trees by my school.
I don't know who thought falling back saved anybody daylight.
I would rather have more light at night than early in the morning.
It is depressing to leave work and the "day" is over. :(

Typical Sunday Afternoon

Sunday November 1st

Football and paper grading.
