Day 14: My Ipod

As I made reference to in an earlier post,

my ipod is not exactly normal.

I used to have some music on there,

maybe 10 songs,

but they got lost and I never bothered to replace them.

Instead of music, this is what I have:

That's it.

No kidding.

Three audio books that I listen to

You get the point.

I listen to Twilight like most people listen to music.

While I drive, workout, cook, clean...

Pretty much anything that I have to do alone. :D

I started to post a picture of her as Hermoine,

because that's who I really want to change places with!

I mean who doesn't want to be an

incredibly smart girl with a magic wand?!

Back in reality,

I am also impressed with her real world persona

Emma Watson.

She has handled her fame well

and is using her name and money to support

Fair Trade clothing and other charity work.

I just hope she doesn't turn out to be yet another celebrity

that let's me down...

Saturday March 20th

We finally went to see this movie today!
It was as good as everyone said it was!!
And I learned something about football that I didn't know. :)

We had a good time,
despite the crazy lady next to Jeremy
who kept shouting out during the movie
and the dysfunctional family in front of us!
Oh, AND the oriental guy who sat next to me
when the movie was literally 5 minutes from finishing...

I recently read the New Moon Movie Companion
from cover to cover.
Another friend of mine just loaned me this!
If only I could get a book that would take
me into the intricate workings of the mind of
Stephanie Myer!

We were really impressed!

Girls Night

Friday February 5th

After work I went out with Brandy, my partner teacher.
We hit up happy hour and got these
delicious peach bellinis
and then went to see a girly movie.
We also had the new dessert:
raspberry tiramisu.
It was DELICIOUS!!!
I was trying to let Jeremy concentrate on studying
for his MFT exam...
and have a little fun too!

Disney Channel

Tuesday February 2nd

I love Disney Channel!
Shows such as
Hannah Montana
Jonas Brothers
Fineas and Ferb
and Wizards of Waverly Place
(featured above)
keep me company on late afternoons
when I am working in my room.
I know most adults find these shows cheesy,
but I find them pleasantly refreshing.
Wholesome (for the most part), funny and just plain fun.
It is like my own little happy place.

Date Night!

Friday January 29th

Tonight, Jeremy surprised me with a date night!
He had everything planned by the time I got home,
and he even voluntarily went to see a girly movie!

BTW, This is a good date movie because it is funny and romantic.

New game

Monday January 25th

Having beaten the latest Harry Potter game,
I need some new entertainment.
Actually, I found this game cheap at Half Priced Books.
I had played the demo before
and have enjoyed playing the full version
OBSESSIVELY!!

Tonight we hung out with Trent and Rachel
and enjoyed their new Wii.

So my plan for getting back on a good sleeping schedule
totally went out the window tonight.
Trent and Rachel came over for dinner and fun.
We had played Scene It? at their house
and so bought it for ourselves.
What did we learn?
We need to watch more movies!

I'm obsessed with Harry Potter

Wednesday Decemeber 30th

Nathan and William gave me a
Barnes and Noble gift card for Christmas.
Today I spent it.
I have read/listened to the entire Harry Potter series,
but I really wanted to own them all so I can read them again.
So, today, I bought them.
I wanted to get the whole set in hardback, but it was $150+!!!
So I had to settle for paper back for now.
Isn't it pretty?!
I really love boxed sets of books...

A really rash purchase

Sunday December 27th

We are continuing to expand our library of Harry Potter movies.
When I went to buy a new one, I fell prey to this enticing package.
Collectors Edition!!!
Too bad it was probably 3 times more expensive than normal movies...

Rock Band

Our band: Kreatures of Mythe
We spend much of our time this Christmas,
playing Rock Band with my brothers.
This was before we made any money
and got to dress up our characters.
